My 3-D stuff

Its almost a month left for the semester to end..and i have been drawing and working on my 3 d stuff..Maya software is complicated..but its fun when you get the hang of it...i m in a rush as usual..i will post my drawings as soon as i get sometime..watch these 2 demo's ! Its actually Lotus temple..made in maya,the first one is a turntable and the second one is a composition (like in a real enviornment)...hope u like'em

My first intro for my demo reel!

Its been almost 3 months since i have posted anything..its really disappointing!! well its my 2nd semester here and i have very few drawing classes,mostly 3d stuff and a little perspective..classes r really fun so far..i love my perspective class,have made so many "good drawings" cant wait to post them here!..This video is actually an intro for my future demo reel...Actually I had 2 versions..but i think the 1st one is the better one and i look forward to use it,The image in the demo was one of my halloween pic which was photoshopped and used here -- hope u like it..! comments appreciated! thanx for looking!!

My semester ended with a big smile on my face,i didn't work hard enough at the drawings though,but learnt loads of new stuff!! tried different techniques which didn't turn out well,art is after all experimenting new stuff and learning new things isn't it? only thing i worked hard was on portrait which came out pretty decent,i used a new technique on still life and wrestling drawing which sucked and with that experience worked on my portrait!! i hv taken pictures of these drawings which further degrades them! :( i m surely gonna enjoy this christmas! hope u too,thanks for looking more stuff yet to come!

I m very happy bout the way my character design came out from paper (2D medium) to a clay portraiture,glad that i can now convert an intangible idea into something tangible which people can observe and understand...its been a long journey and its gonna be even longer after the sem ends...what i learnt here in 4 months would have taken atleast a year or more in India..this one piece is yet to be converted into ceramic and then coloured! hope everything works as planned...more artwork to come..

Cintiq rocks!!!

Just bought my new cintiq!! its so freaking awesome!! worth all the money i guess,things hv been great so far..digital painting is fun..hv been working on clay most of the time and a 3 sec animation..!! winter break in 3 weeks!! wohoo!..running outta time..need to finish my assignments! will post new stuff once done..thnx for looking.

My new banner!

Its been like 2 weeks..have been working hard..trying my best to keep up with the promises i made to myself..attending as many workshops as i can..made lots of new friends at fig drawing classes..tried new mediums,new pencils etc..hv been experimenting so much..but its fun..just a month left for my fall session to end,looking forward for a great christmas.

Made a new banner for my site,thanks to John Park (my great roommate) for helping me out with the banner,it wudn't hv been possible without his help...looking forward to post new stuff as soon as i get time..thnx for looking.

This weeks work!

Wow..have been spending lot of time on assignments! life is crazy..time is flying really fast and what next - i am kinda tired,sleepless,sick etc.. but its cool i love the direction i am heading towards!

There are like 2 drawings out of which i spent most of the time on drapery! it was so terrible,i am not used to working on a cloth..i mean cubes and different shapes..i am more better with human figures rather than cubes,spheres etc.. i think most of the people in my class think the same - they are surely good with humans compared to basic shapes! this week was great..loads of hardwork and stress which got reimbursed by gettin a B minus for the portrait and a C/C minus on the drapery..i felt my instructor was kinda hard at grading drapery..i might rework on it then get my grades updated! until then..
